Ladies! Listen up! This is one of the most motivating verses I have stumbled upon! I'm not saying that working on your outside image is bad, I'm just saying that you also have an inside image to work on also. You may be "pretty" because of your outside image but once you speak foul language, or something ugly and do not have a gentle peaceful spirit, your "pretty" image starts to fade away. God never cares about your outside image, it's what's on the inside that counts (ALWAYS)! As the verse says: "Beauty comes from within." I can not agree with this verse more! It empowers ladies to start working on their insides and not their outsides as much. You are PRECIOUS in God's sight when you have a gentle peaceful spirit... PRECIOUS! I love it!
The glory of God is great! You should know it if you step outside of your house! Everything you see is the work of God. It all boils down to one thing given to you by God. People sometimes ask which came first? The chicken or the egg? Some people have different opinions...here's mine... The chicken came first.
WHY?
Because God created that chicken that laid an egg and became another chicken and so on. As I said before, everything you see all boils down to God. Or as some other people say.. It all boils down to the BIG BANG! Ok my question for those believers is where did the Big Bang come from? Particles in the air or some Electromagnetic energy? Well, how did THOSE get there?
You can try and boil it down as far as possible trying to leave God out of it, but I tell you there is no other way of explaining things without mentioning His name some where in your "brilliant" theories.
There's just NO WAY!
Be on your guard in times of feeling as if you can't do anything right, when you feel as if you can't do anything right stand firm in your faith, this will help you be courageous and strong. As well as helping you do things in love even when you think that you can't.
This is how I interpret this verse.
It's like a story, that you can implant into your brain to remember how to act in times of doubt or other tough times. :)
If they obey and serve Him,
they will spend the rest of their days in prosperity
and their years in contentment.
I am sharing this with you because it is true! My family has been in some tough times but we have never given up or forgotten our God. In return He provides in HIS way not ours. It may take time but I promise you, he always does!
